Sinopse: Centrada em Nora Wilde, uma repórter-fotógrafa, divorciada, que sai do emprego e vai trabalhar num outro tablóide, onde passa a exercer a função de editora-chefe e trazendo para formar a equipe a sua amiga e mentora Camila Dane e o cara-de-pau Dave Fontaine, como editor-adjunto e chefe dos Assuntos Comerciais.Também juntam-se a equipe Bradley Crosby, um fotógrafo que vive deslumbrado com as celebridade e que tem dificuldades de separar sua vida profissional da pessoal; a fotógrafa Suji, agressiva e direta; o chefe de pesquisa Harris, meticuloso e quase maldoso, que consegue informações a qualquer custo, entre outros.
Com o passar dos episódios, Nora passa a se sentir atraída pelo repórter Jack Sullivan, com quem ela compete profissionalmente.
