Sinopse: O show segue as aventuras repletas de ação de dois detetives de roubo / homicídio de Los Angeles , Chase McDonald e August Brooks. Os detetives são tão diferentes como a noite e o dia, mas eles trabalham muito juntos para manter as ruas de LA seguras. Chase também ganha dinheiro extra ao lado, vendendo esculturas de metal que ele faz, enquanto agosto passa seu tempo livre executando um centro juvenil para adolescentes desfavorecidos.
