Sinopse: Foi uma série de televisão, uma mistura de terror, fantasia e ficção científica, criada por Rod Serling. 

A idéia original de Serling era de simplesmente atualizar a outra série anterior, na qual ele fez muito sucesso, denominada “The Twilight Zone” de uma forma mais moderna, mas Night Gallery acabou mais como um sci-fi e contendo muito mais terror que a série passada. Serling, além de ser o anfitrião de cada episódio, também escreveu a maioria dos roteiros mostrados no programa, assim como tinha o mesmo controle sobre a outra série, já citado anteriormente.

Cada episódio começava com uma introdução do apresentador do programa Rod Serling, sobre a história macabra de alguns quadros e esculturas de uma galeria de arte em que ele se encontrava, onde ele dizia mais ou menos o seguinte: “Boa noite. Por favor entre neste pequeno “objeto de arte” que me cerca, você não o encontrará num museu de arte normal, porque estas pinturas incomuns e estátuas provêm de vida ou morte, qualquer que seja o caso. Porque esta é a “The Night Gallery”.
